[31.02] GRS 1915+105: X-ray variability and its possible origin.

S. P. Trudolyubov (Los Alamos National Laboratory)

I present the results of extensive study of X-ray properties of the Galactic superluminal source GRS 1915+105 during the low luminosity states and bright flaring states. Special emphasis of the analysis was on the interpretation of the correlated evolution of the spectral and temporal parameters of the source in the framework of two--component model of the accretion flow involving hot comptonization region near the compact object surrounded by optically thick accretion disk.
