[107.04] A Catalog of Galaxy Clusters and Groups Observed with ASCA

We present a uniform and systematic analysis of galaxy clusters and groups observed by the ASCA x-ray satellite. Our sample consists of nearly all the clusters and groups in the ASCA public archives. We have used semi-automated scripts to extract and reduce the data and to fit the cluster spectra. Our sample contains over 250 clusters and groups with measured x-ray temperature, metal abundance, and luminosity. We use this sample to investigate relationships among x-ray properties of cluster, like the luminosity--temperature relation and abundance--temperature relation, as well as the relationship between x-ray properties and optical properties of clusters.
