[25.03] Eleven Months of Precise Interplanetary Network Gamma-Ray Burst Localizations

Since December 1999 the 3rd Interplanetary Network has been producing small (approximately 10') error boxes at a rate of about one per week, and circulating them within about 24 hours via the GCN. As of October 2000, 38 such error boxes have been obtained. 24 of them have been searched in the radio, optical, and/or X-ray ranges for counterparts, resulting in seven definite counterpart detections and five redshift determinations. We will review these results. One burst appears to hold the record for the highest redshift. Another IPN burst was in the short duration, hard spectrum class, for which no counterpart has yet been detected.
