[56.04] New Observations of the Primordial D/H Ratio Towards QSOs

J. M. O'Meara, D. Tytler, D. Kirkman, N. Suzuki, D. Lubin (UCSD)

We present new measurements of the primordial D/H abundance ratio towards QSOs. The resulting values of relevant cosmological paramters, namely the baryon to photon ratio and the baryon density are discussed and compared with those determined from theory and other measurements. This work was supported in part by NSF grant AST-9900842.
