[75.06] Correlations of Flux Variability with the Dual Jet Model

E.L. Ryan (U of Arizona & SARA Observatory), J.R. Webb (Florida International University & SARA Observatory)

Archival data was collected in several frequency regimes in order to assess the possibility of correlations between the ratio of the radio to millimeter flux peaks in the Dual Jet model (Delta) to the historical optical and radio variabiity properties in a selected sample of AGN. These correlations between explored in an attempt to find independent evidence for applicability of the Dual jet model as presented by Punsly (1996). A through analysis of our sample failed to yield any significant correlations between the observed flux and variability parameters and Delta, and thus do not offer support to the validity of the dual jet model.
