The Chandra Multiwavelength Project (ChaMP) is obtaining optical imaging of Chandra fields for a comprehensive survey of serendipitous X-ray sources. The study is aimed primarily at the nature and evolution of active galaxies. We describe photometry of several early ChaMP-selected fields in Sloan Digital Sky Survey g',r', and i' filters. Definitive source classification awaits spectroscopy, but multicolor plots including X-ray information yield a first cut at source classification, even for sources at faint magnitudes.
