Distortions of images of high-redshift galaxies due to the gravitational field of large scale structure has been measured on scale of a few arcminutes to a few degrees. The power to discriminate between cosmological models is largest for the smallest angular scales. We report on a program to measure "cosmic shear" on the scale of one arcminute and less by using the unfiltered CCD imaging mode on the HST imaging spectrograph (STIS). This mode has high sensitivity and a clean, stable point spread function, making it ideal for such measurements. The goal of the program is to measure the shear on a scale of 50 arcsec with an accuracy of about 10%.
