[70.02] The TRW TPF Concept Study

E. L. Wright (UCLA Astronomy), TRW TPF Team

The team of engineers and scientists working on the TRW study of Terrestrial Planet Finder concepts has examined a wide range of possible architectures, including nulling interferometers, large optical space telescopes with separate occultor spacecraft, and very large infrared space telescopes. Recommendations on which concepts offer the best options for a successful TPF program are provided.
