[113.01] Infrared Photometry of Galactic Globular Clusters From the 2-Micron All-Sky Survey

S.A. Metchev, R.J. Brunner, P. Cote, J.M. Carpenter, G.S. Djorgovski (California Institute of Technology)

We present a preliminary catalog of IR surface-brightness profiles and photometry of 64 Galactic globular clusters, based on publicly available 2MASS data. For 52 of the clusters we derive central surface brightness, King-model concentrations, core radii and total luminosities in the K band. We compare these with the optical results of Trager, King and Djorgovski (1995), and calculate the V-K color index and metallicities for the clusters.
