We present far-ultraviolet spectra of nearby, UV-selected dwarf galaxies. Many common elements have ground state resonance transitions in the far-ultraviolet, and the Lyman and Werner transitions of molecular hydrogen also lie in this region. Absorption from the interstellar medium of the host galaxies and the Galactic interstellar medium imprint lines in the spectrum which we use to constrain the kinematics and column densities of various components of the ISM in the starburst galaxies. We find evidence for galactic outflows in the cooling, collisionally-ionized gas traced by OVI. The magnitude of radiative losses appears to be small relative to the mechanical power supplied by supernovae explosions. We also discuss the relative columns of cold neutral, warm-ionized, and molecular gas in dwarf starburst galaxies.
