We present several quality spectra of high-redshift Type Ia Supernovae (SNe~Ia) observed over the past 7 years by the Supernova Cosmology Project. These spectra are first and foremost used to classify the supernova type since non-Ia contamination can contribute a significant systematic error in the measurement of the cosmological parameters. A secondary effort is under way to use SNe~Ia spectra at both high and low redshift as an independent tool to measure the intrinsic brightness of a supernova and to quantify/constrain possible evolutionary effects.
