We have analyzed the spectra of Capella and Procyon from the LETG aboard Chandra and from EUVE to identify useful diagnostic lines, especially for determining emission measure distributions. We consider uncertainties from instrumental effects, line blending, atomic physics, and interstellar absorption. We present initial results from Fe XV and Fe XVI lines between 50 and 70Å. Several promising diagnostics are identified. Their application to sources for which the column density is not well known will greatly improve the determination of the emission measure distribution at ~ 3 106 Kelvin.
