The NStars program at Appalachian State University, the Vatican Observatory, and the David Dunlap Observatory is at the midpoint of a project to obtain spectra, spectral types and basic physical parameters for all 3600 dwarf and giant stars earlier than M0 within 40 parsecs of the sun. This project is being carried out under the Nearby Stars (NStars)/Space Interferometry Mission Preparatory Science program. The poster will illustrate the data products which are now available and will shortly become available from this project, ranging from precise, homogeneous spectral types through the basic physical parameters (the effective temperature, surface gravity and metallicity, [M/H]) of the program stars to a measure of the chromospheric activity of these stars. Data from this program are available on our website http://stellar.phys.appstate.edu/ which will be demonstrated during the poster session.
