[134.04] 3mm Molecular Line Observations of W51

We present 3mm observations of the high-mass-star forming region W51 from the BIMA array in B and C configurations. We observed in the ¹³CO(J=1-0), C¹⁸O(J=1-0), H¹³CO⁺ (J=1-0), SiO (J=2-1, v=0), SO₂(8_1,7-8_0,8) and SO₂(8_3,5-9_2,8) lines. We use these to calculate physical properties of the gas. All but the SO₂ lines show fairly extended emission. The H¹³CO⁺ (1-0) reveals the presence of a quiescent clump of gas near the central large HII region. The continuum at 3mm is sigificantly different than in centimeter wavelength maps.
