[18.01] The NSF Astronomy and Astrophysics Postdoctoral Fellowship Program

E. D. Friel (NSF)

The NSF Astronomy and Astrophysics Postdoctoral Fellowship Program began in 2001 with the selection of 10 Fellows. The program seeks to recognize outstanding young scientists and educators early in their careers and to provide the resources that enable them to engage in educational and outreach activities in conjunction with their scientific research. The fellowship is intended to provide them with experience in research and education that will establish them in positions of distinction and leadership in the community.
