Analysis of recent spectra obtained at Mount Laguna Observatory of the eclipsing binary V4142 Sagittarii has confirmed the hypothesis that the system is a classical Algol-type binary with an early B to early A V type primary and a late G to early K III type secondary. The masses of both components have been constrained and lie within typical ranges for such systems. Additionally, a previously published photographic light curve has constrained the radii and luminosities of both members. This work has been supported under NSF grant AST94-17035.
