[7.10] Stellar Photometry using the Chandra Aspect Camera

We present a search for and study of variable stars observed with the Aspect Camera Assembly (ACA) on the Chandra X-ray Observatory. More than 100 potential variable stars were observed by the ACA between August 1999 and April 2001, including 26 documented variables and 76 potentially new variable stars. The ACA dataset combines long uninterrupted observations with rapid (2 second) time sampling to provide a unique measure of certain types of stellar variability. We summarize the results of the study and characterize the photometric accuracy of the ACA. Results from detailed analysis of the most interesting eclipsing binary systems in our sample are presented.
