[1.01] New Results on the Highest Energy Cosmic Rays

The origin and propogation of the highest energy cosmic rays is of great interest. New and recent experimental results will be summarized. We will also present a progress report on the new Pierre Auger Project in Argentina. This research is supported by the Division of High Energy Physics of the D.O.E..
