[41.01] The Photometric Calibration of the Advanced Camera for Surveys

The Advanced Camera for Surveys (ACS) was installed in the Hubble Space Telescope (HST) in March 2002. Since then, a significant amount of calibration data has been collected to aid in the understanding of the on-orbit performance of the instrument. We present the results of the photometric calibration of ACS. We discuss the on-orbit sensitivity and accuracy of the photometry with ACS. Observation of the globular clusters 47 Tuc and NGC 2419 have been used to calculate the transformations for main filters between the Wide Field Channel (WFC) and the High Resolution Channel (HRC). Synthetic photometry is used to determine zero points and transformations for all the flight filters. In addition we present the preliminary results of the transformations between ACS photometric system and WFPC2.
