[124.08] WIYN Open Cluster Study: The Evolution of the Lithium-Rotation Anticorrelation in Young Cluster F Stars

We present new lithium and v \sin i data for F stars in clusters with ages between the Pleiades and Hyades, and find a strong correlation between the age of the cluster and a) the slope of the trend in this plane, and b) the maximum observed v \sin i for each cluster. We discuss the implications for the mechanisms responsible for the formation of the ``Li Gap''. We gratefully acknowledge support from the National Science Foundation under grant AST 02-06202.
