[93.19U] Observations of Rotating Protostars with CLIRCAM

B.E. Penprase (Pomona College), B. Brown (Harvey Mudd College)

We present first light images from the Claremont-Riverside-Infrared Camera (CLIRCAM) which is in use at the Pomona College 1-meter telescope in Wrightwood, CA. The 2-micron camera has been used for a monitoring program for Class I and Class II protostars. The goal is to acquire light curves for the protostars and from the curves derive the rotation rates of the stars as a function of age. We present preliminary results from this survey, and our plans for future observations.
