We report on follow up observations of ~25 CVs found in the Sloan Digital Sky Survey, Data Release 1. We present radial velocity curves and periods of these new CVs from time resolved spectra taken with the Apache Point Observatory 3.5 meter. Components in the spectral lines reveal magnetic, disk, and hotspot structure in the CV. Further information on system inclination and geometry is found in 0.76 meter photometry from Manastash Ridge Observatory. Finally, spectropolarimetry from Steward Observatory reveals the magnetic AM Her or intermediate polar nature of several systems. This work is funded in part by NSF grant AST-0205875.
