[86.11U] FIRST Radio Galaxies in the NOAO Deep Wide-Field Survey

J.B. Henderson (University of Washington), M.J.I. Brown, B.T. Jannuzi, A. Dey (NOAO), NDWFS Team

We present an initial sample of optical and IR counterparts of FIRST radio sources identified using the images of the NOAO Deep Wide-Field Survey. The complete NDWFS sample of counterparts to FIRST sources will number approximately 2000 objects. Using the K-z relation to indicate the distance of the radio sources, our analysis of the properties of the current sub-sample reveals evidence of significant evolution of the radio luminosity function from z~0 to z~2.

J. B. Henderson's research was supported by the NOAO/KPNO Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) Program, which is funded by the National Science Foundation. NOAO and KPNO are operated by AURA, Inc., for the National Science Foundation.
