R.A. Cameron (Harvard-Smithsonian CfA), ChaMP Collaboration
We present initial photometric results from optical imaging of the Chandra Multi-wavelength Project (ChaMP) fields. We describe the data reduction, analysis and calibration processes applied to the ChaMP optical imaging data from NOAO MOSAIC cameras, using the SDSS g', r' and i' filter system. Photometry from a subset of the ChaMP fields is presented for objects brighter than r' ~q 24. In order to investigate how the X-ray selected QSO population differ from optically-selected QSOs, we compare the properties of ChaMP QSOs with the general population of SDSS DR1a QSOs. This work was supported by the NASA grant AR1-2003X (Chandra).
