W51e and are G10.6-0.4 are both sites of high mass star formation. Both contain a hot molecular core, thought to be the earliest observed stage of massive star formation, with an embedded ultra-compact HII (UCHII) region. We have investigated the velocity and density structures in the hot molecular cores at small physical scales by observing NH3 in absorbtion against the bright continuum of the UCHII regions. Our observations are from the VLA and have a resolution of 0.15" (1000 AU). We have also investigated two previously detected NH3(3,3) masers in W51.
