As part of an undergraduate, student initiated summer observational program we present the results of 3 years of observations to determine new periods of the RR Lyrae variables in M13. The observations were obtained on the University of Wyoming’s Red Buttes Observatory 0.4 meter reflector (http://rbo.uwyo.edu/movie.html). This program is a major component of the observational training for our Summer Undergraduate Research Assistantship Program (SURAP: http://wyoskies.uwyo.edu/surap/), an astronomy NSF REU Site.

This work is supported by NSF REU site grant AST 0097356.
