[119.07] High Speed Photometry of Pulsating White Dwarfs With A Small Telescope

We present high speed photometry of the pulsating white dwarf GD358 and the sdO PG1605. Our observations were taken at Mt. Cuba Observatory using a 0.6m telescope equipped with an Ap7p CCD. Mt. Cuba Observatory is located outside of Wilmington, DE at the altitude of 90 m. We find that, using off-the-shelf hardware and commercially available software, we acquire high signal/noise observations of these relatively faint stars. Small telescopes can still make a useful contribution to the study of faint pulsating white dwarfs.
