[45.12U] CONCAM Coverage of the 2002 Leonid Meteor Shower

A. J. Fleming, R. J. Nemiroff (Michigan Tech), D. Perez-Ramirez (ESA), W. E. Pereira, J. B. Rafert (Michigan Tech), CONCAM Collaboration

Following the success of the CONCAM global network of fisheye nighttime sky cameras in quantifying the abundance of fireballs in the 2001 Leonid Meteor Shower, a similar campaign was carried out in 2002. The wide field of view, continuous operation, and global nature of the CONCAM network provide an effective means for monitoring and recording bright meteors. Preliminary results will be presented. Conference attendees are invited to stop by and exchange stories about their own efforts to observe this year's Leonids.
