We report the current status and preliminary results of a
program of pure parallel near-ultraviolet observations with
the WFPC2 camera on the Hubble Space Telescope. The parallel
images are taken during the Advanced Camera for Surveys
(ACS) observations of the GOODS (Great Observatories Origins
Deep Survey) treasury fields in the Hubble Deep Field-North
and Chandra Deep Field-South Regions. We use the wide U
filter (F300W) which peaks at 2760{Å}, ensuring that the
data are complementary to ACS data which does not cover the
ultraviolet range. With these data, we will conduct studies
of galaxy properties and evolution, and (i) determine the
morphological k-correction, and the location of star
formation within galaxies at intermediate redshifts
