[14.18] A Multiwavelength Study of NGC 3359

C. R. Byrnes (Denison University), L. V. Jones (University of Arizona), V. Boonysait (University of Florida), P. Martin (CFHT)

We present the results of a multi-wavelength study of NGC 3359 in the infrared and optical wavelengths. Four sets of data were used in this study. The infrared set was taken at KPNO in 1998 by L. Jones. One optical set was taken at La Roque de Los Muchachos by Beckman et. al in 1992. Another optical set was taken by Byrnes et. al at Lowell Observatory in 2002. We also use data from Martin et. al (1999) and create new extinction maps using infrared emission lines. Our results are then compared to findings by Martin et. al (1999).
