[87.02] New Supernova Remnants in NGC 2403

C. M. Eckerle (Denison University), L. V. Jones (University of Arizona), T. Pannuti (MIT)

We present results from an optical and infrared search for supernova remnants (SNRs). We use four hydrogen recombination lines (H\beta, H\alpha, Pa\beta, and Br\gamma) to assess extinction. Using this method we confirm seven previously optically identified SNRs, one radio SNR, and six x-ray SNRs: we also find two previously unknown supernova remnants.
