[56.09] SUSPECT, The Online Supernova Spectrum Archive: Year Two

D. Richardson, R. Thomas, D. Casebeer, D. Branch, E. Baron (Univ. of Oklahoma)

SUSPECT has been in operation for about a year now and we have seen a great deal of enthusiasm from the supernova community. SUSPECT is a publicly available web-based database meant for use by the astronomical community. We collect spectra and photometry from observers. At the web site one may search for the spectra in a variety of ways. During this last year we have made many improvements and additions to the database. Several features have been added to the ``Search Results'' page including a link to a page that contains all of the general information that is available on a given spectrum. We have also placed a list of the parameters used in a search at the bottom of the ``Search Results'' page and on the ``Zwicky'' page (which one gets when no spectra were found). We have begun to include supernova photometry in the database as well. In the near future we intend to include supernova polarization spectra and GRB optical afterglow photometry.
