[37.06] To be a priest should to know astronomy...

In spite of that recently some academic programs try to join science and religion themes in the same course, was during nineteenth century that was necessary to study astronomy for those that want to be catholic priest in Jalisco State, Mexico. A brief description on this astronomy courses is shown and some products from this activity and persons that were involved.
