We present the broad-band spectrum of the innermost ``core-jet'' region of the high redshift (z=1.18) quasar PKS 1127-145. The spectrum consists of the two well pronounced components: the low energy (radio) and the high energy (X-rays) bump. We propose a scenario where the low energy component results from the jet synchrotron radiation, while the high energy one is produced via the Comptonization of the thermal IR radiation from the hot dust by the relativistic particles in the jet. We discuss the parameters required to explain the observed spectrum. We also suggest that the source presents some of the typical features observed in so-called MeV-Blazars, such as the pronounced blue bump, or the very hard X-ray spectrum. We discuss its relation to the population of the GPS quasars and blazars.
