Fourier-frequency resolved spectra are energy spectra computed in a narrow range of Fourier frequency. They thus describe the energy spectrum of a component varying on a given timescale. They were computed from RXTE data of a few bright black hole X-ray binaries. I will present the Fourier spectra predicted by two models of accretion in low/hard state of accreting black holes: localized magnetic flares above an ionized disk, and a propagation model in the truncated disk/inner hot flow geometry. Spectra predicted from the former model are inconsistent with the observations, while the latter model can reproduce the data.
