[30.06] The HeI Isoelectronic Sequence in Cloudy: Comparison with Observations

R. L. Porter, G. J. Ferland (University of Kentucky, Physics & Astronomy Dept.)

We present results from the third in a series of papers concerning the implementation of a complete model of helium-like line and continuum emission into the plasma simulation code CLOUDY. The first two papers are a general review of the methods used (including comparisons with previous works) and a discussion of all continuum processes included. The third paper is a study of the application of the code. This presentation, then, focuses on a few nebular simulations and discusses our success in reproducing observations.
