[12.06] Teaching Astronomy at a Distance

Astronomy lectures and labs for non-science majors has been taught at a distance for several years by faculty at Georgia Perimeter College. Topics such as how to get started and pitfalls to avoid will be discussed. Discussion will include example lecture and lab excercises as well as information about increasing student participation and success. Data and student comments from previous courses will be included.
