The oxygen-rich SNR E0102-72 in the SMC was observed with the Chandra HETGS in September, 1999. This spectrum revealed a wealth of information which allowed us to examine plasma conditions, Doppler shifts and ionization structure. To complement the first data set, a second HETGS observation was carried out at a different roll angle in December, 2002. We present a "first look" at this data set, examining individual X-ray line images and evidence for bulk Doppler shifts, and revisiting the question of plasma variations in the remnant.
This work was supported by NASA through contract NAS8-01129 and by the Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory (SAO) contract SVI-61010 for the Chandra X-Ray Center (CXC).
