[50.05] Results from Recent Deep Simultaneous HST/FUSE/Chandra Campaigns

We discuss the connection between the UV and X-ray manifestation of AGN outflows based on recent deep HST/FUSE/Chandra simultaneous campaigns. Based on their phenomenological similarity, the UV and X-ray troughs seem to arise from the same physical outflow. Therefore, we argue that the current methods used to extract column densities from X-ray troughs are inadequate, and suggest several ways to improve the situation
