[61.09] Dust Extinction with 1.5 Kpc

A method for extracting giant stars from the Tycho catalog is presented. The extinction and the distance to each giant star extracted from the catalog is estimated. The distance and extinction data are used to create a 3-dimensional view of the distribution of dust with 1.5 Kpc of the Sun.
