[7.14] Lithium and Oxygen in Low Metallicity Halo Stars

We present the results of Keck HIRES observations of halo stars with metallicities in the range of -1.33>[Fe/H]>-3.6 and effective temperatures (Teff) in the range of 4500-6500K. We measure the trends of the Li abundances of the stars with Teff greater than ~5600K with respect to their Teff and metallicities. From these trends we estimate the thickness and slope of the Lithium plateau. We compare the Li abundances of the stars in our sample with their Oxygen abundances, which are either determined spectroscopically or gathered from the literature, and compare our trends with those predicted by models of Galactic Chemical Evolution.
