Session 94. Cool Astronomy for Everyone
Special Session, Thursday, June 3, 2004, 2:00-3:30pm, 710/712
Astrobiology is the topic of this Cool Astronomy session and consists of two talks. The aim is to provide an opportunity for non-experts in this area to hear about stimulating topics in astronomy research and
astronomy education from the people actively involved in them. Each talk
is 45 minutes long, including time for questions. The session is similar
to an informal colloquium, with an opportunity to interact over coffee
with the speakers afterwards. A special registration rate is available
for non-AAS members who will attend only the education workshops and
sessions on Saturday, Sunday and Thursday.
