[16.29] XSPEC: Progress and Plans

The XSPEC program is widely used in high energy astrophysics to aid in the analysis of energy spectra. I will describe recent progress and future plans. Topics covered will include testing v12, new models, frequentist and Bayesian interpretations, and the use of Markov Chain Monte Carlo.
