New Chandra X-ray observations have offered the chance to investigate the optical/X-ray mismatch of a sample of 'Composite' Seyfert/Star-forming galaxies. The optical spectral properties of this enigmatic class of objects classify them as star-forming galaxies, however the presence an active nucleus is suggested by the detection of weak H[alpha] broad wings and by a ROSAT X-ray luminosity typical of an active nucleus. A detailed spatial, spectral and temporal analysis of the Chandra observations together with a multi-wavelength analysis suggest the presence of a low-luminosity AGN optically overwhelmed by the host galaxy light.
