The nucleosynthesis of the isotope 60Fe is believed to occur in supernovae. After it is expelled into the interstellar medium its half-life is long enough (1.5 Myr) for many such events to contribute to a steady-state abundance, which gives rise to Galaxy-wide diffuse emission of \gamma-ray lines at 1173 keV and 1332 keV. Detection of this emission was recently reported by the {\em Reuven Ramaty High Energy Solar Spectroscopic Imager\/} experiment. Here we report preliminary results of measurements of these lines by {\em INTEGRAL\/}/SPI.
