We investigate the time dependent radiation signatures expected from jets of microquasars. For this purpose, we have developed an analytical solution to the electron acceleration and cooling problem along the jet, and have used this to evaluate the time-dependent electron and resulting photon spectra. The hardness ratio correlations in the X-ray spectra have also been investigated. Results of a parameter study relevant for the parameter range expected in typical microquasar jets is presented. Emphasis is put on the expected appearance of such systems when oriented at small viewing angles("microblazars"). A special case study for the case of the Galactic microquasar GRS 1915+105 is presented. Support for this work was provided by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration through Chandra Award Number TM3-4005B issued by the Chandra X-ray Observatory Center, which is operated by the Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory for and on behalf of the National Aeronautics Space Administration under contract NAS8-39073.
