Fieldtrip to William Marshall Bullitt Collection

The University of Louisville Library has several rare books collections. Among them, the William Marshall Bullitt collection includes hundreds of rare astronomy and mathematics books, like the first English translation of Euclid (1570), Principia, with Newton's handwritten corrections on the errata leaf, a presentation copy of Gauss' dissertation, and books by Copernicus, Descartes, Einstein, Euler, Galileo, Hamilton, LeGrange, and others. A field trip to the William Marshall Bullitt collection of Rare Astronomy and Mathematical Works at the University of Louisville will be hosted by Prof. Dick Davitt of UofL.
