[22.15] WIYN Open Cluster Study MOSAIC photometry of NGC 6819

We have obtained deep CCD photometry in the VI passbands for a 1-degree field around the open cluster NGC 6819. The color-magnitude diagram (CMD) shows a well-defined main sequence to the limit of the photometry at V~21. We will analyze the CMD and the luminosity function (LF) focusing in particular on radial variations in these diagrams. In this way, we will investigate the effects of stellar dynamics on the appearance of the CMD and LF. This research is supported by NSF grant AST-0196212 to A. Sarajedini.
