A new set of very high signal-to-noise ( > 100/1), medium-resolution (1 Å) spectra have been obtained at Siding Springs Observatory for the sample of candidate low-metallicity stars originally selected by Bidelman & MacConnell, and reported on two decades ago by Norris, Bessell, & Pickles (1985). The sample has been supplemented with newly available proper motions from a variety of sources, as well as with JHK photometry from the 2MASS Point Source Catalog. Based on these data, we measure improved radial velocities, re-determine estimates of [Fe/H], provide new estimates of [C/Fe], and obtain full space motions for the majority of the stars in this catalog. Associations of these stars with various recognized stellar populations (the thin disk, thick disk, metal-weak thick disk, and halo) are discussed.
