We have correlated the SDSS DR3 spectroscopic database with all X-ray sources identified in Chandra archival data, and thereby produced a catalog of galaxies and quasars associated with X-ray emission. Of particular interest are those galaxies which lack optical emission lines, as these represent possible "hidden" AGN. Prior studies of such objects have been limited to individual Chandra fields, usually of galaxy clusters, and subsequently no single study identifies enough sources to accurately assess this population. We present a catalog of over 40 X-ray detected galaxies with optical spectra devoid of emission lines, drawn from about 20 separate Chandra fields. Using this modest sample we evaluate the characteristics of these interesting objects, including their absolute magnitudes, colors, local environments, and X-ray and radio properties. It is hoped that these data will provide a local benchmark for investigations of more exotic higher redshift objects such as X-ray EROs and XBONGs.
